PRESCOTT, AZ -- Arizona 89-A over Mingus Mountain was opened Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m.
The section of the highway between the summit of Mingus Mountain and the scenic overlook south of Jerome is now open to all traffic.

Motorists are asked to use extreme caution in the vicinity of the fire. Firefighters and fire apparatus will still be present in the area.
The Woodchute Fire is now 60 percent contained after burning nearly 750 acres.
It's burning Ponderosa pine, manzanita and pinyon-juniper strands.
See photographs of the fire in the attached slideshow Firefighters are expected to complete and patrol containment lines Wednesday and continue mop-up by extinguishing or removing any remaining burning material along or near the fire line.
