DPS: Officer’s motorcycle hit by car on Chandler freeway

CHANDLER, AZ -- A vehicle reportedly crashed into an officer’s motorcycle on a Valley freeway Tuesday morning.

Lieutenant Stephen Harrison with the Arizona Department of Public Safety said while investigating a crash on westbound Loop 202 to northbound Loop 101, a DPS motorcycle was hit by another vehicle just after 9 a.m.

The officer was not on the motorcycle and was not injured.

Harrison said another person was also hit by the vehicle and complained of leg pain.
