PHOENIX -- Officials say two dozen drivers have been arrested so far this holiday weekend for DUI.
According to a Friday report from the
Governor's Office of Highway Safety, 212 people have been stopped by officers since the crackdown began Thursday.
Of those arrested, nine were charged with extreme DUI at .15 or above, according to the report.
Four drivers arrested for DUI had prior convictions, according to the report.
There were two arrests for underage DUI and 113 other drivers were cited for other violations.
The statewide enforcement will continue through Sunday, July 5.
