Macy's and Style Guru Clinton Kelly from the hit TLC show "What Not To Wear," are giving Valley women a makeover.

The Arizona women will then take to the runway, showing off their new looks at a fashion show at Macy's Fashion Square on October 17 at 2 pm.

Kelly says most women make the same 5 fashion mistakes.

#1 Cropped Pants
Kelly says remember if you are petite don't wear pants for regular height women. It will concentrate a lot of weight to the lower half of your body and your leg line will look shorter.

#2 Hoodies

#3 One-size fits all t-shirts

#4 Yoga pants as regular pants

#5 White Cross-training sneakers

Specific fashion faux pas to an area?
According to Kelly women in the Southwest make three major fashion mistakes.
#1. Flip Flops
#2. Tank Tops
#3. Shorts

How to approach your style and proper fit to ensure they look and feel their best.

Kelly says the bigger you are the more structure you will need in your clothing. Don't wear over-sized clothes. You want to create a waist-line and accentuate your waist.

Also Kelly says its a good idea for plus-sized and petite women to stay away from wearing v-necks shirts. Crew or scoop neck shirts create a better look and it will stretch you up.

When you layer be sure to wear tailored pieces, light-weight and pieces that fit close to your body. As soon as you put one bulky piece in your ensemble, it will throw everything off.
