Fashion Week hits Scottsdale, starts with Wearable Art Walk

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- The Wearable Art Walk kicked off this year's Scottsdale Fashion Week on Thursday night.

The free fashion show featured jewelry and clothing designs from several local artists.

The designs will now be on display at the local art galleries in the area.

Designers such as Chris Kane, who showcased her hand painted and hand sewn clothing, said they were happy to have this opportunity.

"Any exposure and publicity is good for any artist and hopefully it just brings everybody more customers, more clients," said Kane.

Fashion week continues on Friday and Saturday with more fashion shows.

The tickets for the weekend shows range from $20 to $200.
