Have you ever gone to the drug store or department store to purchase skin care products, only to be confused by the packaging, marketing or the sales person?

Visit an aesthetician, a skin care professional who evaluates your skin type, and who can perform a professional facial, and then recommend the correct skin care.

So many times, we purchase a "packaged" skin care line that isn't suitable for our skin.

According to Lisa VanBockern, Owner of Skin Script, usually the active ingredients make our skin issue worse because we need someone to help us pick them out.

Here are some keywords to help you find the right product ingredient for your skin issue:
Glycolics = acneic, fine lines, aging
Salycilics = oily skin
Retinols = fine lines and clogged pores
Lactics = exfoliation for dry skin
Kojic & Arbutin for lightening brown spots
