The days are getting cooler, and that means it's time to switch things up in the makeup department.

Gone are the light and airy days of summer, in are the more rich and dramatic colors of fall.

You don't have to break the bank to get the new look, Zethina, owner of Zethina Cosmeticsand Skincare, says all you need are 5 basic tools to get you through.

Here are her picks.

A peach or pink blush
Peach blush (First Love $22) will give you a beautiful soft glow for the fall. It’s perfect for deep lipstick colors. Pink blush (Petal Pink $22) is perfect for fall with some of the extreme eye colors - think 80s –they’re back.

Eyes
Think jewel tones - shades of deep velvet/indigo blue to rich forest green. Don’t be afraid to play up your eyes for fall! Eye shadows to try include Sinful, Dream, Catherine, X-Rated, Emerald City, Cobalt, Azure, Midnight, Velveteen ($14 each).

Cream based lipsticks
Choose ones with a barely there wash of color, they will give you the perfect nude lips. Colors to try are B-Natural, Sable, Peachy Sheen, or Skin lip gloss.

Red Lip
For the truly daring think bold with your lips. Beautiful shades of red (Marooned, Crimson, Wine) to plum (Cocoa Plum, Antique Bronze, Bordeaux). Keep the eyes nude with bold lips. All lip colors listed are $16 each.

Black Eyeliner
It will complete every make-up bag. Try Black Out Waterproof Gel Eyeliner ($19). Start by lining the inside of your eye and then apply color to the upper lash line and lower lash line, gently smudging for a smoldering eye.

On, Holly Zethina used Sinful eye shadow and Sable lipstick. On Alyssa she used Marooned lipstick with First Love blush.
