TUCSON, Ariz. -- The University of Arizona has announced the creation of its own sports network.
The Arizona Wildcats Sports Network will produce and distribute broadcasts of live football and men's basketball games.
Games not covered by Pac-10 contracts will be carried by the network
The deal replaces one the school had with Fox Sports Arizona for more than 10 years, although games that are part of Fox Sports' national Pac-10 package will still appear there.
The network consists of KGUN-TV, KWBA-TV and KAZT-TV. Spanish-language broadcasts will appear on LATV.
The Arizona Wildcats Sports Network debuts when the football team starts the season at home against Central Michigan.
