The Phoenix Suns have exercised the club
options for the 2010-11 season on the contracts of forward Jared Dudley and
center Robin Lopez.
Dudley, in his third season since being selected 22nd overall in the 2007
draft by Charlotte, was acquired from the Bobcats in a December 2008 trade.
Over 142 career games (21 starts), the Boston College product has averaged 5.6
points and 3.5 rebounds.
Lopez, the 15th overall selection in 2008 out of Stanford, averaged 3.2 points
and 2.0 boards in his rookie campaign last season. He is currently recovering
from a foot injury suffered in training camp.
Additionally, the Suns declined the 2010-11 option on swingman Alando Tucker,
who Phoenix took 29th overall in the 2007 draft. In 36 games over two seasons
with the Suns, he posted averages of 4.4 points and 1.1 rebounds.
