PHOENIX -- Fans could be heard cheering, “Here we go our mighty Mercury,” at Sky Harbor International Airport Thursday night, as the women from the Phoenix Mercury returned home from Indiana.
The Mercury arrived back home just after 6 p.m. Thursday.

“They are tired, right off the plane,” Head Coach Corey Gaines said. “But, by tomorrow they should be just fine.”
The team beat the Fever in Indiana last night and are preparing for game five in the Valley on Friday.
“We're at home,” Gaines said. “That’s what we’ve played all year for.”
The Mercury are fighting for their second title in just three years.
