Augie Ojeda went 3-for-4 with three runs batted in and two runs scored, as the Arizona Diamondbacks finished off their home portion of the 2009 schedule with a 7-4 win over the San Diego Padres in the rubber match of a three-game series at Chase Field.

Chad Tracy went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored for the Diamondbacks, who finished a nine-game homestand with a 4-5 mark. Stephen Drew knocked in two runs and Billy Buckner had an RBI for Arizona, which finished the year with a 36-45 record at home.

Buckner (3-6) went seven innings, allowing four runs on three hits with seven strikeouts and two walks to take the win. Buckner won his first game since June 1. Juan Gutierrez recorded the final four outs to pick up his eighth save of the year.

Adrian Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer for the Padres, who finished a 10-game road trip with a 6-4 record. Drew Macias drove in a run for San Diego, which ended the season with a 33-48 mark on the road.

Edward Mujica (3-5) lasted 5 1/3 innings, giving up four runs on eight hits with six strikeouts and two walks to take the loss.

The Padres drew first blood with three runs in the top of the fourth. Tony Gwynn walked and scored on David Eckstein's single to right, which was misplayed by Justin Upton. Gonzalez followed with a two-run homer to right.

Arizona plated a pair of runs in the bottom half to cut the deficit to 3-2. Tracy laced a two-out double and crossed the plate on Ojeda's double to right. Buckner then hit an RBI single up the middle.

The D'Backs scored three times in the sixth to take a 5-3 lead. Tracy's one- out blast to right-center field got things started. Arizona went on to put men on first and second with two outs. Drew then stroked a two-run double into the gap in left-center field.

Macias' RBI double in the top of the seventh cut the gap to 5-4. But Ojeda's two-run double in the home half of the frame put the Diamondbacks ahead 7-4.

Esmerling Vasquez, Scott Schoeneweis, and Gutierrez combined to pitch a scoreless eighth. Gutierrez tossed a scoreless ninth to secure the victory for Arizona.
