With eighth draft picks now on the books, the Arizona Cardinals can begin turning their attention towards their roster for next season.
It looks as if the addition of Beanie Wells equals the subtraction of Edgerrin James.
The Cardinals apparently wanted to make sure they found a running back that could fill the role held by James, and now that Wells is on his way to Phoenix the Cardinals are expected to release Edge in the coming days.
With James out of the mix the Cardinals will have five running backs on their roster including Wells and seventh round selection Larod Stephens-Howling.
