The 2009 NFL Draft is upon us and here's a list of the players who are apparently high on the Cardinals list for the 31st overall pick.
Running Back - Chris “Beanie” Wells of Ohio St.
Running Back - Knowshon Moreno of Georgia
Running Back - Donald Brown of Connecticut
Center - Alex Mack of California
Center - Max Unger of Oregon
Outside Linebacker - Larry English of Northern Illinois
Now keep in mind that if the Cardinals like running backs Knowshon Moreno or Chris Wells, there is a scenerio in which the Cards could end up with either running back before they even get to the 31st selection.
Moreno or Wells could be drafted in the first round by the Eagles, then traded with a 3rd round pick to the Cards in exchange for Anquan Boldin. The Cards could very well be waiting to make the trade to see if the player they want is still available with the Eagles 21st pick.
