The Anquan Boldin contract situation has turned into an absolute soap opera and today we find out that one of the main characters is about to be written out of the script.

The evil Drew Rosenhaus has caused enough turmoil in Cardinalville and now it's time for our "hero" , Anquan, to tell us that Rosenhaus has been leading him astray all along.

The firing of Rosenhaus doesn't guarantee that Anquan will remain a Cardinal but it could definitely go a long way in making a long term deal with the Cardinals more likely.

Rosenhaus is guilty of giving Anquan and Darnell Dockett bad advice about restructuring their contracts earlier than they should have. Dockett agreed to a new five year contract in December of 2006 and less than a year later wanted a new deal.

Anquan supposedly wanted a deal similar to Larry fitzgerald's contract and Rosenhaus told Anquan he could get it. The deal never got done and now Anquan has realized that the best way to move forward with the Cardinals and the hope of a new contract is without super agent Drew.

This is the time for Anquan to let everyone know that Rosenhaus gave him bad information and was filling his head with bad ideas. It's time for Anquan to find a new agent and begin negotiations with a clean slate.

On the other side, its time for the Cardinals to realize that Anquan took a big step in letting Rosenhaus go. It's time for the Cards to move towards locking Boldin up to a new deal that works for both sides.
