The Cardinals fell a mere 35 seconds short of winning Super Bowl 43!
Bottom line, the first person you have to thank for all of this excitement is head coach Ken Whisenhunt!
Look, if Whisenhunt didn't take this job back on January 14th of 2007, we're not even having this conversation!
Coach Whisenhunt has taken one of the worst franchises in all of professional sports and literally changed the culture that's existed in Tempe for two decades.
He brought a "blue collar" attitude to the job and he convinced everyone in the building that this team, this franchise, *can be a winner!
That's not an easy thing to do! But through his ability to hire the right coaches and weed out the "bad eggs", he's done it! And he did it in just two years!
So today, my hat's off to Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt for bringing respectability to a team that none of us ever thought would make it to the Super Bowl, let alone win their division!
Thanks coach! This was a lot of fun!
