I've tipped my hat to Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt. I truly believe that without him, none of this would be happening.
That said, I also have to tip my hat to the fans! The ones who lived through 20 years of mediocrity, the ones who survived the heat at Sun Devil Stadium. The ones who had to deal with being outnumbered by the opposing teams fans.
The ones who bleed RED and WHITE. The ones who believed in this team, even when the team didn't believe in itself!
Look, Darnell Dockett said it to me Sunday night after the Super Bowl when I asked him about the fans, and he didn't hesitate in his response.
"I appreciate the ones who have been here through a lot more thin, than thick! Not the band-wagoners, but the die hards".
You know who he's talking about. You know who you are! You 25,000 to 30,000 die-hards, you deserved this season! You earned it. Now, make sure you revel in it, that you enjoy every single minute of it!
