Cardinals vs. Titans - Sunday, November 29 - 2:15 p.m. (MST)The Cards...The Cardinals have a chance this week to accomplish a few things the franchise hasn't done in years.
They are going for their 8th win of the season and the victory would mark the third consecutive 8-win season. That's only been done one other time in franchise history, in 1974 (10-4), 1975 (11-3) and 1976 (10-4).
Ken Whisenhunt has a chance to make Cardinal history by becoming the first head coach to go .500 or better in each of his first three seasons.
The Cardinals have a chance to match their franchise mark for most road wins in a season, with six. The last time they had six road wins was the same year the first disco was opened in the U.S.A., Whiskey a Go-Go in 1963.
The Opponent...
The Tennessee Titans are rolling these days. After starting 0-6, Jeff Fischer changed quarterbacks and inserted Vince Young as the starter. Since that move the Titans have reeled off four straight wins. However, as good as Young has been, this team's most dangerous weapon is running back Chris Johnson.
Johnson leads the NFL with over 1,200 yards already. He's one of the fastest players in the NFL and talks a good game as well; he vowed the Titans will run the table in the regular season finishing 10-6.
Warner Update...
Kurt Warner has not missed a practice after suffering a concussion on Sunday and will likely start his 42nd consecutive game. The Cardinals will need him with Tennessee returning to the form that helped them finish 13-3 last year.
Keys to the Game...
Tennessee will try to keep the ball away from Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald. The Titans have the ability to do this with Chris Johnson and Vince Young.
With the perfect road record, The Cardinals have proven they can win anywhere at anytime. The key for them, assuming Warner plays, is stopping the Titans running game.
Prediction...
Cards pull it out in the 4th.
