Stanford came out and ran all over Arizona State's top ranked rushing defense.

The Cardinal rushed for 249 yards against the Sun Devils.  Toby Gerhart accounted for 126 yards and a touchdown.

Stanford (5-3, 3-2) built a 24-0 lead at the half and cruised to a 33-14 win in Palo Alto, CA.

Playing in front of his hometown fans, ASU quarterback Danny Sullivan struggled completing 12 of 23 passes for 144 yards.  Sullivan was knocked out of the game in the 4th quarter after throwing his second touchdown pass.  He did not return.

ASU falls to 4-3 and 2-2 in conference.  Next up for the Sun Devils their homecoming game against Cal on Halloween.
