The Sun Devils (4-3, 2-2) are looking to bounce back from last week’s disappointing loss to Stanford. This week the Devils will have to deal with California (5-2, 2-2) Golden Bears.

Keys of the Game:

Danny Sullivan – The senior quarterback still has to prove he can handle being a starting quarterback. Last week against the Cardinals Sullivan went 12 for 23 and for 143 yards. If Sullivan doesn’t improve, freshman quarterback Brock Osweiler might have to become the starter sooner rather than later.

Will the real Golden Bears please stand up? When Cal is at the their best they are easily one of the best teams in the country, but when they aren’t they become one of the worst. Cal outscored their last two opponents 96 to 43. In Cal’s two losses to Oregon and USC the Golden Bears scored a combined six points.

Jahvid Best – Arguably one of the best running backs in country, Best’s 775 yards ranks him third overall in the Pac-10. Best's success and Cal’s record go hand in hand. Whenever Best has rushed for over 100 yards Cal is 5-0, but in the Golden Bear’s two losses he as only run for a combined 112 yards.

Defense – Before last week's game against Stanford the Sun Devils were ranked as one the top defenses in the country. If they can return to their old ways ASU should have no problem containing Best and the rest of the Cal offense, but that’s a big IF.
