Bashas' Boo at the Zoo fun for the whole family

Saturday and Sunday October 24 & 25

Come join us for the 20th annual Basha's Boo! at the Zoo.

This year we will be celebrating this family-friendly Halloween event with a Fall-Fest at the zoo's Harmony Farm!

Experience life on the farm with fun activities for young children including the following:

• Enjoy a Halloween scavenger hunt as you look for Halloween animals including cats, bats, owls, snakes, spiders, bugs and more on the Children's trail

• Help make life-size scarecrows for our Howl-O-Ween event.

• Learn about composting at our live worm bin

• Halloween themed games and activities

• Refreshing milk sampling from Shamrock Farms

• Pumpkin bowling with the Arizona Farm Bureau

Plus enjoy all of your favorite Boo! Traditions:

• The Pumpkin Stomp and Chomp for the zoo's animals

• The Mascot Parade – costumed characters from the community in the main plaza

• The Pony Parade – Horses of Hollywood @ the Equine Arena at noon

• Live entertainment with Mrs. B at Savanna Park

• Halloween photo opportunities - post your photo on the zoo's facebook page

• And much more!

Free with zoo membership or regular admission.

Kids 8 years and older may prefer our new night-time event Howl-O-Ween October 30 & 31 from 6:30p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Click Here

Costumes can scare some of the zoo animals. Due to the nature of this event and the safety of the animals, Monkey Village will be closed and costumes may need to be altered or removed at the giraffe encounter.
