Julio Gonzalez stumbled upon stacks of sensitive homeowner information in the garage of a vacant model home.
Gonzalez says a neighbor asked him to look into it after she suspected someone had ransacked the home.
He says the documents included private details like social security numbers and bank account information that he believes were left behind when builder Randall Martin abandoned the development.
ABC15 tried reaching someone from Randall Martin but was unsuccessful.
Gilbert police do not believe anyone stole or tampered with the paperwork.
