Rose
After living as a lonely stray for months, Rose, a vibrant and colorful torbie cat, finally stumbled upon a kitty lover who swept her up and rescued her. This affectionate one-year-old purred in the arms of her rescuer all the way to the Arizona Humane Society. After a good meal and a much needed drink of water, Rose curled up in her cozy kitty bed and began the search for her new family.
The wait has gone on longer than expected. The days have changed to weeks and the weeks to months and still Rose is waiting for that special someone to adopt her. She has a lot to offer her new human pal, and not only is she gregarious and outgoing but she is extremely loyal and loving. Every evening when you come home from work Rose will be waiting by the door to greet you with a soft meow. She will always accompany her human friends when they are lounging on the couch, and every night she will faithfully sleep on the pillow next to you.
Rose seems to enjoy the companionship of other cats but she hasn’t mingled with dogs or children and will need to be introduced very slowly.
She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion, 1521 West Dobbins Road, Phoenix. Her adoption fee is only $20 because she is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar, a pet carrier, an AHS I.D. tag, and a follow-up exam. For more information, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal I.D. number A279899 or log on to www.azhumane.org.
