Lightning-caused fire burns 10 acres in southern Arizona

TUCSON, AZ -- Firefighters are working a lightning-caused fire east of Tucson.
 
The Santa Catalina Ranger District says the Pistol Fire has burned about 10 acres east of Colossal Cave within the Posta Quemada Canyon watershed.
 
The fire was 40-percent contained as of Monday afternoon.

Firefighters are using a helicopter to dump water on the fire. Smoke can be seen from parts of Tucson.
 
Firefighters are also contending with above average temperatures and a chance of lightning storms in the area.
