Goats that have been eating their way through central Arizona as part of fire prevention efforts are now munching away at the Hassayampa River Preserve near Wickenburg.

The goats' mission is to eat vegetation at the preserve that can become a hazard during the upcoming wildfire season.

The goats have been busy with their wildfire prevention duties since last August.

They were also used at the United Christian Youth Camp in Prescott and the City of Prescott's Community Nature Center Open Space Preserve.
