Crews battle 1800 acre wildfire in southern Arizona

Coronado National Forest, AZ -- A wildfire that broke out Thursday continues to burn in southern Arizona.

The fire started at 4:43 p.m. and has burned 1800 acres in the southwest end of the San Rafael Valley.

The flames are approximately 2 miles northwest from the town of Lochiel, and are moving in a northeast direction.

On Thursday evening the fires clamed but dense smoke is still visible. The Douglas Department of Forestry crew remains on the scene.
