SURPRISE, AZ -- Firefighters battled a blaze in the west Valley that tore through a travel trailer and set a nearby home on fire Tuesday evening.
Rural Metro Fire Department Capt. Mark Cichocki said firefighters from Surprise, Wittmann, Phoenix and Rural Metro fire departments fought to put out the fire at the home near 181st Avenue and Dixileta Drive around 6:15 p.m.
Air15 video showed the travel trailer burned nearly to the ground and the home, just feet away, on fire.
Cichocki said a propane tank on the property began venting, fueling the flames.
No injuries were reported, according to Cichocki.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
