SURPRISE, AZ -- The Surprise Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man who robbed a drug store at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.
At about 2:20 p.m., an unknown man entered the Walgreens located in the 14200 block of NW Grand Avenue and held the cashier up at gunpoint, according to a Surprise Police Department press release.
The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
He's described as a white or Hispanic man, 30 to 40 years of age, with a thin build. He was wearing a Polo style shirt, which was white with dark stripes, along with blue jeans, according to the press release.
The case remains under investigation and no other information was provided Thursday night.
