SURPRISE, AZ -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a McDonald’s restaurant on Thursday night.
Sergeant Mark Ortega with the Surprise Police Department said the robbery occurred at the McDonald’s near Litchfield and Waddell around 8:30 p.m.
Ortega said the suspect approached the cashier, showed a black handgun and demanded money from the register.
He was given an unknown amount of cash and left the area.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male in his mid-40s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, thin build, black hair, wearing a blue ball cap, blue pants and white shoes.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police are still investigating.
