SURPRISE, AZ – A police officer was injured after being hit by a truck while riding a motorcycle Friday morning.
According to Sergeant Mark Ortega with the Surprise Police Department, an off duty officer was riding his personal motorcycle near Bell and Reems roads when a truck turned in front of him.
The officer was airlifted to St. Joseph’s hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
