WITTMANN, AZ – Fire crews responded to a blaze that broke out in the Northwest Valley Thursday morning.

Flames broke out at a mobile home and storage structure near 247th Avenue and Patton Road just after 6 a.m.

Firefighters from Surprise, Circle City and Morristown reportedly worked to battle the fire that completely burned the structure along with a barn.

Fire crews called in water tankers because there are no hydrants in the area, but the building is reported to be a total loss.

Chief Rios with the Wittmann Fire Department said two men managed to escape from the mobile home and were not injured.

There is no word on what caused the fire.
