SURPRISE, AZ -- Authorities say two men were arrested after they allegedly fired shots at vehicles leaving a party in the west Valley Tuesday night.

Surprise Police Sgt. Mark Ortega said two separate vehicles were shot at as they left a party near Greenway Road and Tierra Buena Lane around 11:15 p.m.

Ortega said the victims, who were driving their individual vehicles from the party, told police that two males pulled alongside and fired at both their vehicles.

The victims were not hurt and drove to the Surprise Police Department where they reported the incident and identified the suspects, according to police.

Officers reportedly located the suspects, Ryan Blue, 20, and James Jenkins, 19, a short time later.

Ortega said Blue and Jenkins, both of Surprise, were taken into custody and charged with three counts each of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count each of drive by shooting.
