YOUNGTOWN, AZ – Sheriff's deputies have identified a woman killed on a West Valley street early Wednesday morning.

Maricopa County spokeswoman Lindsey Smith said the search continues for 32-year-old Sabrina Alcantar's husband who they suspect in the slaying.

Smith said deputies first responded to a domestic disturbance in progress at around 6:30 a.m. at a house near 111th and Peoria avenues.

When officials arrived at the scene, they reportedly found a woman who had been brutally murdered in the street.

Smith also said a Hispanic male suspect fled the scene. He has been identified as the victim's husband, Manuel Alcantar.

She said Manuel should be considered armed and dangerous and has a previous assault history.

There is no word on how Sabrina was killed.
