PEORIA, AZ -- Mini-golf, laser tag, video games, and of course plenty of snacks.  It is the newest kid hangout in Peoria.  It is also the dream of man who never lived to see it come true.

"He is here," said Tammy Warner. "Sometimes late at night you can feel him."

Tammy Warner's husband Ed died four years ago in a fiery crash as he left Lake Pleasant. His truck was hit by a teenager who was street racing. That teen also lost his life.

Over the past year Tammy and her brother Greg started building "Wazee's World," a safe place where kids and teens can spend time and avoid getting into trouble.

"Ed always had compassion for teens," said Warner.  "He was the biggest kid of all."

Wazee's World has only been open for a couple weeks but Warner says business is already picking up and the whole thing has been healing for her family.

Wazee's World is located near 97th and Peoria avenues.

The family is still adding new features to the center including an area that will honor military families.  Both Ed and her brother Greg were in the military and know people who have lost loved ones in recent years.
