PEORIA, AZ -- Authorities say two men were flown to Valley hospitals after one was apparently shot and the other stabbed Thursday.

Peoria Police spokesman Mike Tellef said police responded to a call of a teen shot at a home near 107th Avenue and Butler Drive around 4:15 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his 20s had been shot and a male in his 30s had been stabbed, Tellef said.

Both were reportedly flown to Valley hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Tellef said an investigation is under way; the motive for the shooting/stabbing is unclear at this point.
