PEORIA, AZ -- Police have confirmed three people found dead inside a Peoria home Friday morning were shot to death.
Mike Tellef with the Peoria Police and Fire Departments said 26-year-old Dawn Axsom and her mother, 56-year-old Linda Braden, both suffered fatal gunshot wounds and both their deaths were ruled homicides.
The third victim at the scene, Gabriel Schwartz, 28, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Tellef said.
According to officials, the three bodies were discovered inside the home near Sunnyside Drive and 73rd Avenue around 10 a.m.

He said one of the victims did not show up for work and when a friend went to the home to check, they reportedly heard a baby crying but no one was answering the door.
The friend called police and when officers arrived at the home, they found the three victims' bodies in different rooms in the home, according to Tellef.
Police said the 2-year-old son of Axsom and Schwartz was found in the home unharmed.
