PEORIA, AZ -- Police continue to investigate after a man was shot during an argument at a Peoria home Thursday.
Police spokesman Mike Tellef said officers responded to the home, near 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road, for a report of a shooting around 3:15 p.m.
According to police, two males at the home, a 37-year-old and 20-year-old were arguing when the older man was shot.
Tellef said when officers arrived at the home they were told unknown individuals were driving a gunshot victim to a Valley hospital in their own vehicle.
He said officers were able to get the individuals to stop at 67th Avenue and Patrick Ranch Road where paramedics treated and transported the 37-year-old victim to the hospital.
Air15 video showed paramedics also treating a male outside the home with some sort injury to his head, and loading him into an ambulance.
The shooting victim's injuries are unknown at this time.
Tellef said investigators continue to work out the details of the incident.
