For a father to kill his daughter is an act of treason against one's own family. After running down his own flesh and blood (for his own selfish interests) he fled like the true coward that he is. He may have the label of being a man and a father, but clearly he is not (substance over form). Solely for his act of treason against his own child, he should suffer a cruel, painful, and lengthy torture before death (of which many Americans would gladly carry out). To the silent muslim (and I use the small "m"), you are in America. Transform and acclimate to our country's culture, or get out! Increasingly, an ever growing population of Americans neither trust, like, or want to live near you (are they going to shoot someone, bomb someone, commit a terrorist act). If you feel like the West has declared war on Islam, well go figure why?

Honor killing might mean something if we were in Iraq, but we are NOT. We are in America. Act like it. The old saying...."When in Rome..."

Just thought I would post this up might not mean anything to some poeple but like i said before not all Muslims are the same :::::::: by Jared Dillingham Posted on November 6, 2009 at 9:26 PM Related: Phoenix residents react to the shooting at Fort Hood Ft. Hood Gen: Gunman went on 'measured' shooting Arizona Guard says its soldiers OK at Fort Hood PHOENIX - Following the Fort Hood attack blogs and talk radio filled with Muslim bashing. A Fox News anchor raised this issue: "Do you think it's time for the military to have special debriefings for any Muslims who are enlisted?" The response to that suggestion from Valley Muslim leaders was not what you might think. "I don’t take offense- it's a challenge and I need to fix this problem," Jasser said. Some would call special screenings for Muslims in the military discrimination, but local leaders are tired of the political correctness. Members of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy said they'd be ok with more extensive background checks for Muslims. The Fort Hood attack seems to have hit Muslims especially hard, not because they've become targets, but because, they say, it's become evident their faith has been hijacked by fanatics. He points to a string of other incidents this year involving Muslim extremists in Arkansas, New Jersey, and Michigan. The Muslim leaders 3TV talked to say they're not looking to play the victim card, they haven't felt like targets since the Fort Hood attack. Right now they only thing they say they feel is determination to prevent the tiny radical sect from spreading.

It's strange,... I haven't heard anything from the Islamic/Muslim Community condemning this act of violence. They can't publicly support it (I'm sure) but,... deep down inside,... I'm sure they DO (especially, the men) support, practice and defend "Honor Killings". They just can't say it "on-the-record". >> I'd like to see an IMAM come out and condemn the practice of "Honor Killing" for the record. >> It's acts like this that paint the Islamic/Muslim Community in a bad light and, it's not like they're saying "Honor Killings" are a bad thing either (?)

He was kind and giving? Kind and giving people do not murder their own children. Irrationally derived? Oh really? The only one I see irrationally derived and full of fear of propaganda , free speech and the likes is the one whom has killed his own child. The truth, the fact and the sick morality is that a young woman is dead at the hands of her own father who apparently submitted to all of the things you had listed.

It would be nice, just once - if we could hear a huge outcry from the Muslim community. I always see long explanations about religious and cultural beliefs. Huge attempts to explain it all away for those that "just don't get it" . I have yet to see the Muslim community as a whole stand up against these types of crimes. By not doing so, it would appear they not only agree - they condone. I don't care who you are or where you are from. When in Rome do as the Romans. This is America. We are American and because of this, we are all under American laws. He broke the law of this country regardless of what his religious or cultural beliefs are. This story makes me so sick and so sad. How could he choose to not have his daughter at all rather than accept her as what she had become...American...the place he brought her to begin with.
