A schitzophrenic with bi-polar disorder- very scary. He probably was off his medication (if he was ever taking any). He'll plead insane and end up in a mental hospital. I hope this boy gets lots of love and he never remembers that horrible day.

God Bless little Brian for the rest of his life, he was meant to live on in memory of his mother and sister. Why should we citizens pay taxes to keep this murderer alive for the rest of his life? Obviously, he was too chicken to really kill himself, where's the "injection?" how about the "gas chamber?" why not help him finish up what he started out to do? This is a good reason to use the death penelty that still exists here, are the courts possessed?

Thank god for his Aunt who will be there for him to help him whenever he is ready. Such another tragic act of murdering innocent people. Where can this be helped?

We should be applauding this little guys' will to live. Let's hope and pray for his safety and well being. I still don't understand 'why', a parent has the assumption, they are alright with slaying their loved ones and family, but, choose to live on. This was a cowardly and heinous act; he should've 'offed' himself, and, let his poor family alone. Hopefully, this father will pay dearly for his actions. The child and Aunt, need all the support they can muster now.
