AND THE PPL PASSING OUT IT WAS ALSO BECAUSE THEY WERE DRINKING TOO, DON'T MAKE OUT AS BAD AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO THINK. KUPD DID A GREAT JOB PUTTING ON THIS CONCERT AND THEY ALSO DO A GREAT JOB!

First of all the Summer Scorcher last year was way hotter and I didn't see any media covering that. We are in AZ if you don't want to be out in the heat stay home! Second when people are acting irresponsible and not keeping themselves hydrated while they are drinking its their own fault if they "feel dizzy". What do you expect when you are outside drinking....umm wake up call AZ you need to drink water. Thank you abc for pointing that out to us like we didn't already know! KUPD put on an awesome show dont let some idiot people keep you from doing it again! My husband and I went this year and last year, and will keep attending for ever how long you decide to keep putting it on! You guys rock!

I went to a Korn concert once, it was an all day festival. I went out at 2pm, and left at 1015 pm. I felt fine the entire time even though it was 115 out that day. I guess these folks from out of state cant handle the heat.

why is this news lol everytime Ozzfest is in town it it wayyyy hotter and people still show up even with the heat. you will see some people pass out here and there, that is only because some of them are idiots that thought it would be a good idea to get drunk before the concert and end up face down on the floor because of their own choices. most of the concerts that they have outdoors, they allow you to bring water!!

Wow this is news! I mean great job reporting that we live in AZ and its hot. I think I am such much more informed now. Thank you abc 15 for that great piece of work you d-bags.

ABC 15....this story is pure sensationalism! I was at the festival and it was awesome! Yeah it was hot!!! so freakin what, its Az, we know it gets hot and we prepare for it. The heat sneaks up on fools all over the country that dont prepare themselves or notice the signs from their bodies that they need to re-hydrate and rest a bit. KUPD provided water Lorida...quit basing your comments on just what you read here on this site...inform yourself before you open your mouth. And if you didnt want the free (not so good tasting) water you could get a 24 oz water for $2.00, so they were not even out to rape the crowd when the most certainly could have, because I would have paid more after all the water that I brought ran out. Each person was allowed to bring in a gallon of water. If you were in the mosh pits--you were sweating more than a gal. of water/Hr. while the sun was out, so if you didnt replace it while you were "moshin" your're just stupid and you have a deathwish. My son and I were there from 2:00PM on and neither of us had any issues. ABC 15, find something a little more newsworthy, and quit making garbage stories up. All the bands were really good! Five Finger Death Punch was amazing KUPD--You guys rock, dont let this stupid, uninformed report keep you from doing it next year! We'll all be out there again.
