I read quilt for surviving and this book is a heart felt book that shows you how being ill and being a single mother is very hard. I was really surprise that her children did not turn to drugs or gangs because of what this mother was dealing with. Her children showed alot of strengh from the pressures that are out there. These children are positive role models to other children because of what they had been going through. And I believe that they could help others not turn to the streets or do drugs but do something positive in there life. This mother put her children first no matter how hard things have gotten for this family her children always came first. I really hope there book become a best seller because it is a great book and the writters are teenagers.Keep up the good work and I hope they will not give up on there dreams. And brittney good luck at spelman and jordan good luck on your cooking career Everyone should purchase this book.

This is a heart-warming story. I'm amazed at the strength of these children and how they have overcome such a great obstacle in their young lives. Through these childrens eyes is the best way to help other children going through the same kind of struggles. Linda has every right to be proud of her kids as this is a reflection of the type of mother that she is. I will purchase this book, read it, and lay it on my coffee table for anyone else who may be interested in reading it. Great job Brittany and Jordan. Oh and congratulations to Brittany for going to Spellman. You are a bright star on the rise for great things. Never stop doing what you are doing.
