Well all your neg BS had a good outcome (you know who you are). Marie is now on Jenny Craig and is losing weight. She has a new attitude on life and those who know her are proud of her. And the fix to all this from the HS admin is that Yearbook staff is now a after school project. This way maybe people that want to do the editing...will and will attempt to do a good job. It won't be a in-school social hour.

I used to be the type of a-hole that made fun of others. Sadly, sometimes it takes way too long to grow up. There are tears in my eyes as I type this knowing there are no words to make Marie feel better. If I could I would go to her and give her a hug and let her know that somehow, someway, things work themselves out. I wish I could un-do these types of hurts.

Paid leave = Reward bad judgement. Someone should be fired for letting this happen. If I was a parent of the victims, I'd file a lawsuit.

Angie 1723 your right it is not all forgotten about and it should not be forgotten that easily! It is wrong that they are acting as it never happened, when what happened is so wrong. If I remember right this is considered slander and is a serious offense. The school owes her and the other kid who ws commented on in print so cruelly more then an apology. It is not right that Mrs. Schmitt is giving her such a hard time about her cheerleading after such an offense either. Maybe the school should make a supplement for every year book in print made up of positive comments about marie and the other student to be put in every year book! This teacher owes Marie a big apology. She Should not be giving Marie critism about her cheerleading, when she needs to show her so much more respect after what happened. It makes me angry that the school seems to be forgetting about this so easily.

"The best revenge is living well"... She should go on a vegetarian diet and exercise regularly, get her body in top shape and tell all those jerks to go to hell!

WOW..this teacher and principal should be fired, I am sure there are flaws she would rather not be published in a school yearbook. Things like this damage souls and you can never erase the pain. Way to go!

Now a week later the teacher is back teaching and the school puts it under the sheets. Marie is already haveing problems with the yearbook teacher/cheer leader coach saying that maybe she is not fit for cheerleading. They have done irreversible damage and it continues. They all think that it is over forgotton about.

This is terrible. I heard the story on the radio this morning. This is unacceptable! SERIOUSLY! How can people be so cruel to another class mate. What did she do to them?? Honestly, this is the reason adolesants kill themselves. They think that they arent worth while because of A**HOLE likes these that print immature comments in a yearbook. This is the schools fault. They owe Marie a lifetime of apologies. How is she to face going to that school after something so terrible happens. They say they are going to put "labels" over what was written, how do they plan to get every single yearbook back. This will forever haunt her! I cannot believe what schools let kids get away with. My heart goes out to Marie!

Thank you. You did exactly what I thought you would. If you knew me you would know I was not judging, I was editing And I even told you I left something for you to edit. You weren't up to doing that job correctly either. Bye!

I hope that woman from MO goes to prison for 3 yrs. for what she did to that girl in her neighborhood. Under no circumstances should she get a freebie on that scheme of hers. I'm glad the federal prosecutor went too bat for the girl and unfortunately the jurors' didn't give her the real treatment that she deserved. There you go people, big creeps on the internet and all of the phony sincerity for military personnel is enough too make me sick. People are single minded and they don't care about anything except themselves.
