Last Update: 9/23/2009 11:41 am
BUCKEYE, AZ -- Officials say two robbery suspects attacked a 63-year-old woman as she got into her car to go to work around 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

According to Buckeye police Lt. Phil Harris, the suspects pulled the woman from the car at her home near Rainbow Road and Sundance Parkway and grabbed her purse, taking a credit and bank card.

They reportedly pushed the victim into the side of her car, leaving bruises on her face, arm and hip.

Harris said the suspects arrived and left on foot.

One suspect was described as a Hispanic male, about 30 years old, with a stocky build, short dark hair and wearing a blue jersey with the number "1" and dark shorts.

The second suspect was described as a Black male, 6 feet tall, about 150 pounds, wearing a button-down shirt over a white t-shirt, black baggy pants and a black bandana on his head.

Anyone with information about this robbery should call the Buckeye Police Department non-emergency number at 623-349-6400.
