cjsdsu, who said anything about 'little green people'? An object that is unidentifiable IS a UFO, but I didn't say what I saw was a UFO nor other-worldly, but it was sure unidentifiable to ME. Iv'e never seen anything that flew without wings, propellers or some kind of support, except rockets/missiles and some drones. But most drones have features that definately give it that man-made look. This had no antennas, wire or engines of any sort, that I could see, and it was quiet. It still could have been a drone, though. But for what?

thats right cjsdsu-- the only aliens in AZ are coming from the mexican border, not from outer space....

Wow, the balloon was visible in the Phoenix area too?! I live in the mountains about 50 miles northeast of Kingman, AZ and we saw it very clearly last evening. It really looked bright and "shimmery".

Please stop! There are no such things as little green people from space. There are no UFO's and ghosts for that matter, stop playing tricks with your minds...."they" don't exist.

observant,,, those a called `chem trails` and i am told that supposedly they contain chemicals released by the jets. i was once told that they were intendend to eliminate the elderly or sick, as in population control. I am not saying I believe in it or not, just passing on info that i have heard to answer your question.

This balloon was in nearly the same spot at the same time as the one last month on the 17th (I think it was the 17th?). After watching that one, it was right at dust when you can still see definate shapes such as airplanes or whatever in the sky. It wasn't dark, but sun had gone down and it was around 7:15-7:20pm. Anyway, I was out watering plants and became aware of something going overhead and, thinking it was just a bird, I looked up just as ANOTHER OBJECT that was DEFINATELY NOT a plane or a bird because it had NO WINGS. It was not a helicopter either. It was dark in color- charcoal gray or black. Since I missed the front of the object as it moved away, I saw no other color or writing/logo. It was going from north to south directly in line with approximately 40th Ave. over Phoenix. It looked to be at about the same height that helicopters normally fly, was moving at about 45 mi. an hour and made no sound at all. What was really wierd was I couldn't really figure out the exact shape of the thing. It wasn't symetrical- not cylinder-shaped, not a disk. It was like several shapes attached together, sort of flat one way, rectangle another, cylinder-like at another angle- can't really describe. I just stared at it as long as it was visible. There was no exhaust trail and no lights that I could see but it was very visible if anyone happened to be looking up in the 43rd Ave. corridor. A plane was coming in for a landing at Sky Harbor and it could have been visible from that. Anywho, because it was moving fairly slow, I didn't think it was 'ET' but maybe a drone or 'one of ours'- whatever that is. I also thought it might have been related to the balloon. It's just funny that I've never seen a 'UFO' as such, but saw two odd things in the sky at about the same time. I tried to find pics of drones but none looked much like what I saw. Did anyone see this object that evening or perhaps after THIS particular balloon sighting?

Seven people in one office suddenly have sinus and upper respiratory infections while dozens of others outside of that office are unable to jog/run outside due to nostril burning / metallic scented "Oleander"!?!? Oh, sorry! Shhh, I forgot we're blaming ham! Better go get one of those ham / weather balloon vaccines ASAP! By the way, one of the jets is visible in the balloon slideshow photos.

and here i thought i was the only one lol. But a ballon? i guess i mean i saw it and i knew there was something going on because the brightest stars we have usually are not in the northwest. ALso when it started moving i knew it wasnt a star and i went inside to call my dad but by the time we came out no more the 10 secs it took him the thing was so far of all we could see was a really small dot? All this happened within 20 seconds but i guess it was a ballon? ha
