PHOENIX -- If you saw a strange light in the Northwest Valley sky on Thursday night, you weren't alone.

Dozens of people flooded the ABC15 phone lines shortly after sunset.

But don't worry!

The white light was simply a weather balloon, much like the balloon Valley residents saw over parts of our state in May.

There's a NASA website where you can track weather balloons like this, and one of those maps lines up with the path of Thursday's light in the sky.

Check it out here

If you've got photos of the light, you can email them to us at MyAZNews@abc15.com or upload them directly to our website right here.
