TEMPE, AZ -- Local food banks are struggling to help families with supplies running low.
Many have turned to local churches and schools to help supplement the stock of food.
Phoenix VIP Events is sponsoring the Mill Avenue
Halloween Music Festival on October 31 in front of MadCap Theaters in Tempe to benefit St. Mary's Food Bank.
The event runs from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
It’s a great day of music in downtown Tempe, complete with raffles, booths and outdoor entertainment, making this a fun event for the entire family.
The music festival benefits St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance.
People who bring canned and dry foods, personal hygiene items and cleaning products will receive raffle tickets for some valuable prizes.
Headlining the entertainment line-up at noon is Arizona musician, Hans Olson.
Other performers include Sydney Sprague with Shane Hunt, Poem, Courtney Marie Andrews, Mary Hoffman with Darin Mahoney and James Parks.
