GUADALUPE, AZ -- A family was able to escape a fire that destroyed a home in Guadalupe on Tuesday morning, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
A spokesman said the fire started at about 10:45 a.m. near Baseline Road and Avenida Del Yaqui.
A caller reported seeing dark grey smoke coming from the area.
The family made it out of the house safely and there were no injuries, officials said.
It took firefighters 15 minutes to contain the blaze and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
