As a 4 year resident of this area, I find this is a very important issue that has to be finalized for this area. With the growth and many business coming in and changes, it is important for this area to become accredited. Let's not get short changed on monies that can be received from the State and Federal to help make things run smoother. Andy a San Tan Heights resident

Why not make it easy and not completely rid the residents of the name Queen Creek...for people who live north of the city the new name should be North Queen Creek...for people who live South of the city call the new name South Queen Creek...I live South of the city so my new address would be Joseph R Carreiro Sr 29972 N Bryce Trail South Queen Creek,Arizona 85142. I like the ring to the new name. I also believe many residents of the area would vote for this idea. Please consider to allow a vote on these new names. Sincerely Joseph R Carreiro Sr 480-656-5277

29 people liked the name Bella Vista out of 70,000 seems like we did not ask the majority and I think the majority have not had a chance to talk! Monday night may change the whole name. I think Bella Vista is a cheap wine

This is the first I have heard of this so I think it shows that Supervisor Martyn is a little out of touch with his constituents. I am in the community of San Tan and at the last HOA meeting I remember a discussion about what the sherrifs department is doing to improve service and maybe finding the funds to paint lines on some of the streets, but the re-naming of this area was not addressed. Bella Vista? Why and how will that promote the history of this community. I agree, it sounds like a cheap wine or something else insignificant, and that does not describe the community I live in. We are warm and friendly. I say put it to a vote. I plan to be at that meeting and I am bringing my vote with me.

Supervisor Martyn told the media of the change for BelVista, Az. and made it seem that everyone was in favour of his decision. Well ther are many, many residents that are not even informed of the name change. the supervisor had stated that he visited associations and discussed this name change with residents....who, where, and when. It seems the Supervvisor Martyn has taken the burden of deciding on a name all by himself. He told representitives of the communities involved that they would have a chance to vote on the name in a meeting on Monday evening in their community. But like many a "politition" of the past, he has laid down the "word" and the last word was his.....days even before the meeting. i guess that will have to do, but like all men of politics....there is always an election sometime.

Flying Monkey, according to President Stewie Griffin, "anyone who uses the terms 'irregardless', 'a whole 'nother', or 'all of sudden' shall be sent to a work camp." "Rejigger" has not been banned.

"Rejigger" - is that a word? Is that in a dictionary? Or is that what "professional journalism" has lowered itself to? Perhaps journalism has been "rejiggered"!?!

So now I won't have to say, "I live in the Queen Creek that's not Queen Creek."?
