FLORENCE, AZ -- Every day, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office releases a list of calls received in the past 24 hours.

Here are some interesting/notable reports from October 3:

What's worse: Nosey neighbor or pyromaniac?
On Saturday morning, an Apache Junction man called sheriff's officials and said his neighbor won't stop "burning things in his backyard that he should not be burning." Just to prove it, the caller says he has it all on tape.

Daddy's Little Girl
Sheriff's dispatchers received a call Saturday afternoon from a 44-year-old woman who said her 66-year-old father is "snooping around in her room and going through her mail." He was reading letters from her boyfriend. Either way, someone needs to move on or someone needs to move out.

Can I shoot it?
A Casa Grande woman called deputies Saturday night to report a snake living underneath her trailer. The fire department wouldn't come get it. So, she asked if a deputy would come or if she could shoot it.

On the Market?
A Florence man called the sheriff's office Saturday to report that a real estate sign was stolen from his back yard. He said his back gate is always locked so "someone jumped over his fence and took the sign." Two things seem out of place : (1) Why was the real estate sign in the back yard?; (2) The caller didn't know how long the sign had been gone.

Kids and Cannons
On Saturday evening, a Gold Canyon resident in the 6500 block of E Casa De Risco Lane reported a few "juvies are around the corner playing with a small replica cannon. They keep firing it and making explosion sounds." Question: Where do kids get a working cannon?

Pony Express
An Oracle resident called sheriff's deputies Saturday night to report a brown horse on the loose. Apparently, the caller said the horse was running down the road, "heading from the court house to the post office."
