QUEEN CREEK, AZ -- Fast food chain Chick-fil-A continues to expand here in the Valley, and they're celebrating their newest location in Queen Creek on Thursday, October 8.

To celebrate the chain's expansion, Chick-fil-A will be giving away a free year supply of their tasty chicken to the first 100 people at the Queen Creek location's grand opening.

The company says they are excited about the event, as they are not only giving away more than $26,000 in free food, but the new location also brings with it approximately 65 new jobs.

According to a press release from the company, Chick-fil-A fans usually arrive more than 25 hours in advance of an opening, and Thursday's event likely won't be any different.

The line officially begins forming up to 24 hours before the grand opening, with the prizes being awarded Thursday, October 8 sometime between 6 a.m. and 6:15 a.m.

The restaurant will open for business immediately thereafter.

Representatives for the restaurant say in the event that there are more than 100 people by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, all 100 spots will be determined by a raffle.

The Queen Creek Chick-fil-A will be located at 20455 E. Rittenhouse Rd. in Queen Creek.
