The sewer system is in such bad repair because nothing was done to mantain it for many years. Past town councils that were too afraid to raise sewer rates to generate the needed monies to put back into the system....feared their friends would not re elect them to office and the bad managment in public works for many years added to the many infrastructure problems the town now suffers. When the _ _ it would hit the fan, the town only fixed what desperate situation was put before them....and they only put out those fires with bandaids..... The town has been slowly digging themselves out of this hole for more than 4 years now and the current council is finding how difficult that is. As a citizen of Miami, I want to thank the city of Phoenix for all their generosity!

They could rebuild most of the entire towm with 18mill, so why that much for the sewer? I bet 3 mill will do it.

It is probably damaged from everyone disposing of Meth making chemicals. Time to close the town.
